Teo Running Line Monitors
Teo running line monitors are among the most reliable in the market, and they are found in many different applications and industries.
Our customers find them highly satisfactory in areas such as
monitoring wire line equipment on offshore installations, in cable-laying vessels
and in break-load tests. In any application where an
ordinary crane scale/dynamometer is unsuitable,
a running line monitor should be considered. Our standard capacities range from 2 to 100 tons’ tension (wires 12-72 mm ø).

A running line monitor shows the tension in a running wire line. The wire runs through three wheels at an angle inside the monitor, creating a force against the middle wheel. The middle wheel is attached to a load cell, showing wire tension. A counter wheel gives you the length of the wire passing through the monitor.
